The biggest reason we run Spruce Cliff Honey? We love bees! They’re fascinating creatures, and we love sharing our passion and knowledge about bees with others.

We would love to have you join us on one of our Spruce Cliff Honey Apiary Tours. Here’s what you need to know:

• Location: Our hives are on the roof of the Marriott Residence Inn Calgary Downtown/Beltline District at 610 10 Ave SW, Calgary, AB.
• Date and time: Tours run at 3:00 pm on select dates listed below.
• Tour group size and restrictions: We cap our tours at a maximum of 12 participants. We provide beekeeping suits for participants, so we must know your approximate size at the time of booking to help us manage suit availability. Though children are welcome, we have limited child-sized suits, so we encourage you to email us to confirm any special requirements.
• Safety: Bees are stinging insects and some individuals may have an existing allergy to their venom. Anyone who has an allergy or fear of bees that would preclude them from attending hive-side is welcome to remain indoors behind the glass during the tour portion, and we will do our best to accommodate you.
• Weather: For the safety and wellbeing of our bees, we cannot open our hives up during inclement weather (strong winds, rain, hail, or thunderstorms). In the event we need to cancel your tour due to poor weather conditions, you will be given an option to reschedule or a full refund along with our apologies.
