The biggest reason we run Spruce Cliff Honey? We love bees! They’re fascinating creatures, and we love sharing our passion and knowledge about bees with others.

We would love to have you join us on one of our Spruce Cliff Honey Apiary Tours. Here’s what you need to know:

• Location: Our hives are on the roof of the Delta Hotels Calgary Downtown at 209 4 Ave SE, Calgary, AB.
• Date and time: Tours run at 1:00 pm on select dates listed below (unless otherwise specified).
• Tour group size and restrictions: We cap our tours at a maximum of 12 participants. We provide beekeeping suits for participants, so we must know your approximate size at the time of booking to help us manage suit availability. Though children are welcome, we have limited child-sized suits, so we encourage you to email us to confirm any special requirements.
• Safety: Bees are stinging insects and some individuals may have an existing allergy to their venom. Anyone who has a severe allergy or fear of bees would preclude them from attending this hive-side tour, however, we are happy to accommodate guests with different comfort levels who may wish to keep a distance from the hives but still attend the tour.
• Weather: For the safety and wellbeing of our bees, we cannot open our hives up during inclement weather (strong winds, rain, hail, or thunderstorms). In the event we need to cancel your tour due to poor weather conditions, you will be given an option to reschedule or a full refund along with our apologies.
• Refunds: Can’t attend your tour date after booking? Anytime up to two weeks out from the scheduled tour date, you can request a refund less a $5.00 per ticket processing fee to cover our expenses. Anytime between one and two weeks out from the scheduled tour date, you can request a 50% refund. Unfortunately, we aren’t able to provide refunds within one week of your scheduled tour date, however, we will always try to reschedule you to an alternate date if space is available.

Can’t make the available dates? We may be adding new dates throughout the season as demand warrants.
